Privacy

Plain-English. SnapChange is an early-stage product; we collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Only what is needed to make a variation and get it approved: the job name, the line items and prices you enter, your business details, and, when a customer approves, their name and the time of approval. We do not ask for or store your customer database.

Where it lives

In this early build, your variations are stored on your own device (in your browser). When you send a variation for approval, that single variation travels inside the approval link to the customer. The approval record is created on the customer's device and shared back to you.

What we do not do

Analytics and advertising

Our website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether our ads work: for example, how many people who saw an ad visited the site, drafted a variation, or subscribed. It records page visits and those actions (with the dollar amount, but not the text of your variation or your customers' names) and sets cookies Meta uses for measurement. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings and your Meta ad preferences. If you would rather we did not track your visit, email us and we will help.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). If we ever become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected people and the OAIC as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Your rights

You can clear your data at any time by clearing this app's storage in your browser. To ask what we hold or to have it deleted, email us.

Handled under

We handle personal information consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988). Electronic approvals are made under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth).
