Terms of use

Plain-English terms for an early-stage product. Updated 12 July 2026.

Who provides SnapChange

SnapChange is provided by Fincheros Pty Ltd (ABN 52 661 243 947), an Australian company. "We", "us" and "our" mean Fincheros Pty Ltd; "you" means the person or business using SnapChange.

What SnapChange does

SnapChange helps you capture a mid-job variation, price it with GST, and get your customer's electronic approval with a timestamped record. It is a documentation tool. It does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not issue tax invoices or collect payment from your customer on your behalf — you invoice your customer the way you already do.

Your responsibility

The free trial and subscription

You can start free with a limited number of variations, no card required. To continue beyond the free allowance you subscribe for $29 per month including GST, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not give pro-rata refunds for part-months unless the Australian Consumer Law requires it.

Electronic approvals

When your customer approves a variation, SnapChange records what they were shown and the time they approved it. Electronic approvals are valid in Australia under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth). The approval is a record that your customer agreed to the described work and price; it is not a substitute for your own contract or quote where one is required.

Acceptable use

Don't use SnapChange to misrepresent work or prices, to send approvals to people who aren't your customer, or to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability

SnapChange is an early-stage product and is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim to keep it working but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change as we improve it.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes the consumer guarantees or other rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Subject to those rights, to the extent permitted by law our liability to you for any claim connected with SnapChange is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or the value of a variation you did not bill.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. If we make a material change we will note it here and update the date above. Continuing to use SnapChange after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state.
